July  30

We headed right back out to the 28N line that had been sooooo good the day before for Kings and nice Steelheads, marked some bait, turned west and began to pick up fish.  The fish were hitting 45-60’ down on various Moonshines the action and the fishing was steady, but the size of the fish were small and the crew decided to throw many juvenile kings and small steelheads back.  Around 11 am we had a small lull in the action and I suggested that we pull and run into 70 fow and try for some Brown Trout to finish out the day.  The crew opted for the plan and we arrived on the Brown Trout water at about 12:15.  We found the fish quickly and ended up landing 2 of the 4 fish that hit, both nice Brownies!!!

Hot Lures

The fish were hitting all types of lures with no single selection better than another.
