September 22

Left the dock in the dark loaded with glow J-plugs and fully charged Moonshine spoons.  Set up on the wall and began a troll across the mouth and into the west bay.  SNAP a king pulled a silver J off of the outrigger, the fish was on for several moments and then was gone.  We made another loop and a fish bumped the silver J again, then we landed a rainbow on a moonshine just below the surface.

We made one more loop and headed out just a little. We hit 38 fow and the rod on the 28’ rigger popped and began to scream the dipsy on the other side of the boat began to scream as well.  We landed both fish reset the lines, circled back around again and BANG we doubled up again.  Added another fish on the next pass and then they just shut off.

The fish were hot for the first four hours then they just shut right off!  Finally around noon we hit a nice brown.  A short time later we headed to the bay to clean fish and called it a day.
