A perfect calm morning we decided to give a try on the inside for brown trout.  It was the next to last day of the derby and no big brown trout had been entered.  We trolled from the wall to Green Harbor with only one hit—a small 15 inch brownie that took a purple evil eye behind a dipsy.  Around 9 am we decided to head out and try the offshore fishing. 

 

We quickly found some decent action around the 26N line.  We began picking up fish on our north to south troll.  The best lures were the Moonshine Super Seedless and Mixed Vegetables.  The flasher and flies were also working both on the 300 copper and the dipsys.

 

Unlike the day before the guys were a little more into the fishing.  We ended the day with a double on large rainbows.  See the pictures below.
