SEPTEMBER 25, 2004 Capt Carl, I would just like to take a minute of your time to let you and everyone else know what a great time we had today. I personally have been on many of $1500 -$3000 hunting and fishing trips. Our trip with you was at the top of my list of hunting and fishing trips. I've never seen a guide work harder then you did to today. From 6am till 3pm you worked the baits, rods and boat to make every effort for us to see some action, not even taking a break for a coffee or soda.. As you can see by the pictures your hard work paid off. This is after missing 2 and throwing a small one back. That’s another quality about you . The fish was just legal and you explained about it being a first year fish and letting it grow for another fight another year. My daughter Shannon and myself had a great time as did my friend John and his son Stephen. You can be sure you'll see us next year bringing more friends. Capt. Carl,
Returned home around 6:30 this evening and just want to say THANKS AGAIN.
The trip was one that I think both myself and my grandson Chris will remember for many years thanks to you and your two sons efforts. When I was looking to book this trip I wasn't sure where to go and what Captain to choose. But I couldn't have done better if I was there for weeks watching as the different boats and captains came in. We had a great time and you produced the fish when fishing was really tough and others were not having the luck that we had. Rather it be luck, but most likely skill and knowledge, you produced the fish. We were the envy and the lodge when we came in with our catch. I set out to make this entire trip a great memory for my grandson and you came through in flying colors for which I am very grateful.

JULY 2, 2005 Carl: On behalf of my friends and myself, we would like to thank you again for your efforts and work yesterday on the fishing trip. Too bad we had to lose a couple of guys due to motion sickness, but the three of us who remained had a good time. Although I live closer to Lake Erie, I much prefer to fish Lake Ontario because of the "salmo" genus or specie that dwell in its waters. Walleye are "ok" for eating, but they do not put up much of a fight and are like pulling in dead weight. Yesterday was a difficult situation all the way around, but I can assure you that I'll be back soon and I will definitely have you in mind when I decide to book the trip. You and Dave certainly made the best out of a bad situation. I would also appreciate it if you could thank Dave for me also, I did not get back to the boat to thank him. He seems like a wonderful guy and was an asset to have along too. Keep up the great job. Your love for the sport shows. Best of luck to your biology students as well. Don Hepfner

August 19, 2006 Capt. Carl, We had a great time with you last Saturday. We loved the pictures on the website! The kids & I were hoping to see Dad holding his "invisible fish" so we could further heckle him! You really MADE the trip. My husband's been out on quite a few charter boats over the years & said that you were the best captain he's ever gone out with. August 20 & 21, 2006 Carl, Thanks for a great time fishing. It was a real pleasure meeting with and spending two days on the lake together. I'm sure all the guys on our group are looking for to another trip. Not only did we catch enough fish but had a fun time doing so.
