Flat calm lake, headed out to the 150 fow area just North West of Wilson.
Hit the water early and started fishing. Started out in the same area that had been productive earlier in the week and it was not long before the rods began to fly.
We found an eastbound troll was the best direction and once again the deep NK Vampire was the early ticket. On the first pass to the East we doubled up on salmon, John brought in the second fish and it was a 23 pound hog — biggest of the season so far.
We continued to troll in a big east—west triangle and the fishing was steady the whole day. Check out the 17 pound Lake Trout.
Keys to our success: East bound troll Speed of 3.1 mph Fishing Deep (click here for details)
