August 24 pm
Friday evening, calm sunny
The morning fog had lifted and the water temps had increased through the day. Usually for evening charters I like to fish the inside water, this saves more time for fishing, but today the cold water was still along the shore and out for several miles. I did not feel it was right to fish inside when I knew how good the fishing was offshore, so we headed out to deeper water.
We set lines and began a north troll. We missed a couple of fish then finally we found a nice group of Kings and steelheads and we put eight fish in the boat really quick.
