Thursday— 1’-2’ chop, warm, sunny

Flea-o-meter 4

Ran north west and began setting up lines in 50 fow in front of the pump house.  My crew was a family of 6, mom & dad, three boys 13, 12 and 8 and a 7 year old young lady.  When mom told me that all the fish would be thrown back I knew that we would catch a bunch of fish!

The first rod down took a hit while my back was turned setting the rigger on the other side of the boat.  We then trolled north to 100 fow made a little turn to the west to get around a boat in front of us and a brown trout hit the NBK down 55’.

We leveled out on a west troll at about 2.5 mph sog, and the reels just started singing.  The two older boys doubled up a pair of kings then a skipper then Greg (8 years old) tied into the largest fish of the day that hit the glow frog on the copper.  The action remained steady up until around 9:45 so we began a troll back toward port and called it a day before noon.  The crew did a great day holding on to the fish and we ended the day 9 for 11.
