Fished 50—110 fow surface temp 41—42 degrees, light in the beginning picked up from the east, sun.
We ran about a mile northwest of Wilson and began a southwest troll toward the Niagara River. Trolled for the first hour with just one hit on a slide diver with a small gold watermelon, missed that fish. We continued west and finally had a fish hit the dipsy set at 120’. We began to circle but the fish were avoiding us so we continued west again and things started to happen. We picked up a coho on a honeybee slider then a laker on the black magic down 40’. We had a steady pick on the fish for the next couple of hours about a fish every half hour. We ended the day with 5 Lake Trout and 3 Coho.
