May 5

Another day of North East winds, and choppy seas.  The 3 straight days of NE wind blew the kings out of port and about 50 miles west.  The good news is that we had plenty of Lake Trout and a few Coho Salmon in the area.  We worked our way west about 11 miles and found a few pods of fish along the way.  The first two fish of the day were a pair of the biggest Lake Trout I have seen in quite a while, the hot lure for the day was a white flasher with the MOONSINE Green Jeans Fly.  We landed 12 fish for the day including the limit of Lake Trout keeping our “LIMIT” streak going!!
