Tuesday— 1’-2’ chop, warm, sunny

Flea-o-meter 2

Set up in  40 fow to the west.  Began a westbound troll then turned to north because we were not having the action or seeing what we wanted to see.  Went about 1/2 mile north and the 200’ copper popped off the out rigger with a medium size steelhead.  Reset the line and about 20 min later it popped again this time with a nice 10+# steelhead.  Wanting to fish smart I quickly put 4 mag glow frogs on the riggers and dipsy then turned the boat just got headed south and the center rigger at 40’ began to scream with a very good fish.  We continued to circle the area and pick up fish on the mag frogs on the copper and at 25 and 40 feet down.  First thing the 50 degee water was between 25 and  30’ down, around 9:30 warm water was rolling in and the fish rolled out with the cold water.  We landed 8 fish all on mag glow frogs.

Wednesday — Flat, Sunny no wind

Flea-o-meter 7

Set up in 60 fow and found 65 degree water on the bottom, began to move north and the temp began to drop.  We got out to 125 fow and had a hit on a WMD 220’ feet out on a dipsy, missed it but turned to go back through.  Had another hit on the turn, then missed one on the 400’ copper that broke off the Liquid Sunshine Fly behind the green and white spin DR.

Fished for another hour without a hit then finally landed a Rainbow 65’ down on an e-lure.  We were out to about 160 fow and began a south west troll back toward the port when the WMD hit again.  This time we landed the fish after a long run.  We had 2 fish in the box and began a south troll.  We hit 100 fow about noon and the rods began to fire.  We ended up landing 4 more mature kings ending the day with a nice group of fish plus 2 for the first mate.
