August 5 pm

With the lake rapidly upwelling I thought we might be able to find large pods of fish migrating out to the deeper water.  We set lines in about 300’ and began a north troll, on our set-up a nice king hit the Geezer down the center.  I thought that we found them right-a-way, but it turned out to be our only fish of the evening.

We ran well offshore to get to warm water and the fish.  We set up at the 31N line and began fishing — the screen looked great and we had several fish on the set—up.  Things quieted down a little then we put out the MOONSHINE RAZORBURN and for several hours we had constant action on that lure—prompting us to run all 5 on the boat — all 5 took fish!!!
