Fished 150—300 fow just west of Wilson, water temp 48 degrees. Slight west wind, west bound current, sunshine.

Started the morning by dropping the Pink Vampire to 105’, and running the other riggers up higher for Coho.  For the first hour the Vampire were biting hard and the fish were winning the battle.  By 7:00 we were 4 for 11, most of the fish hitting the deep Vampire on the center rigger.

Just a few minutes later Charlie, who was getting ribbed as the guy who never catches fish, had his limit in the cooler and took a seat to watch the “big mouths” show him how it was done.

The next hour slid the SSW into the water with the white Spin Dr, No-See-Um and over the course of the day this rig added three salmon to our cooler.

We worked a slow troll from 150’ to 300’ and back again all day, we caught kings on the outside and Coho on the inside.

The R & W Honeybee was very good on the sliders and we finally got a dipsy combo working, 150’ out with the same Spin Dr/fly as above.

We experienced good action all day and boated several fish over the 15 fish limit, releasing the extras to swim & bite another day.  We had a fantastic day of fishing.
