August 25 & 26 Pressure was on for these two days as I was fishing with John Mamrak. John held the NYS Record for largest Lake Trout for 17 years and is still (to our understanding) the Lake Ontario record holder for a 40+ pound fish he caught while jigging at the Niagara Bar. Well it is always great to fish with a legend!!!!
I don’t think John and crew were disappointed — we managed to put together a couple of good days fishing, decent action and do I even need to tell you who caught the biggest fish of the trip?
