2011 Year of the KING!!
September 17 - 18
Fished both Saturday and Sunday mornings till noon. The days were great weather wise, calm seas. On Saturday we trolled the wall along with what seemed like 1000 other boats. The action was slow until the boats moved out then we took a couple of big guys. We ended Saturday with 3 mature salmon. Sunday we hit the wall again, not as many boats. The action was a bit better, we were 3 for 6 on the wall, we moved out to 60 fow and took a nice COHO out there. The action was all on a MOONSHINE silver carbon 40’ back 2’ down. Only one fish came on a J-plug and one on a MOONSHINE PLUG.
Our 2011 season is complete!!! I want to thank all who fished with Salmo Charters this year. I hope to see you all again beginning in MARCH 2012!!! |
